To avoid odours, please clean your catch on the beach.
BBQ:
A BBQ is available for guest use. Please follow these instructions for safe and effective operation.
The gas supply tap is next to the BBQ, set to vertical (on) for gas flow. Turn to horizontal (off) after use.
Please clean the BBQ after each use.
Fire Pit:
The fire pit is available for use, on non-fire ban days only. If uncertain, check at the Golden Beach fires station or General Store. Never leave the fire pit unattended.
There's limited wood available, so it's suggested you bring your own where possible.
No bottles, caps, cans, or plastic if the fire please.
Be certain the fire is completely out before leaving the area.
Pets:
There is a large fenced pet compound available, with kennel, at the side of the house.
Ticks can be found all along the Australian eastern seaboard, we suggest you take the appropriate precautions for your dog.

Australian beaches and countryside have insects. Best preventative is to use a tropical strength repellent. Mosquito coils are in the pantry if you wish to sit outside in the evenings. Avoid using external lights near doorways and keep screen doors closed.
